I'm currently working on a WBT project for a major motor oil brand, and am designing the training for their customers (like Fast oil change shops, etc.) The content varies between really technical and sales stuff.
Trying to make it as interactive as possible while respecting the dial-up students. Anybody else working on something you'd like to share?

Re: Current projects?
Wed, March 30, 2005 - 11:49 AMI'm putting together my thesis project, a wbt for amatuer digital photographers on how to use their manual settings, etc. with their digital cameras instead of using their automated presets. The idea for this project is to get people to learn more about their digital cameras and how they work differently than a film camera.

Re: Current projects?
Wed, March 30, 2005 - 12:18 PMI'm trying to get the knowledge out of the brain of the pre-existing Customer Trainer, who's been the only training person for about 4 years.
This means Instructor Scripts - for online (Placeware) training.
Then I get to figure out what the training should look like for industry-specific versions of the company's offerings.
Oy.

Re: Current projects?
Wed, May 3, 2006 - 8:30 PMMy project is to train new clients in how to use our software. I use Breeze, sharing a powerpoint, then I have exercises for the trainees. I have them log-in to their new appication and complete some simple exercises. I also have a several quizzes that keep them on their toes.
I do train in person and it helps... I tweak the content to the groups energy level, background and interests.. -
